The Gym: is the lively focal point for the physical education classes, dance classes, and our varied athletic program. Funded by the Taylor, Ogden, and Orr Foundations in 1963, the building houses a basketball court as well as a weight room, wrestling room, dance room and locker rooms. The foyer, named in the memory of Burrill Bernard Olster ’57, is a favorite place to relax and catch-up with friends.
The Main Athletic Field: located in the middle of campus, is a gorgeous site overlooking the Hudson River and the slopes of Black Rock Forest. Soccer, lacrosse, and Ultimate Frisbee teams use the field, as well as gym classes on warm days.
The Secondary Athletic Field: situated adjacent to campus on the other side of Route 9W, is just a short walk from campus through the tunnel. This field serves as overflow for practices and games on busy days.
The Softball Field: is a newly constructed area backed into a corner of the main athletic field.
The Tennis Courts: consist of four paved courts in a fenced-in area behind Orr Commons overlooking Dempsey and McConnell dormitories and the beautiful Hudson River valley.
