The Storm King School's lively athletic program is a tremendous source of pride for our small school. 

Do you enjoy soccer, cross-country, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, lacrosse, tennis, golf, softball, and Ultimate Frisbee?  We are competitive in these sports and add other sports activities whenever possible.  Or do skiing, snowboarding and mountaineering programs sound fun?  Whatever your taste, the SKS Athletics Program strives to include as many student interests as possible. 

The school is a member of two thriving leagues that provide a full schedule of sporting events. The Hudson Valley Athletic League (HVAL) is an association of 12 similar schools located in the Hudson Valley, Putnam Valley, and the Housatonic region between Newburgh, New York and Waterbury, Connecticut. The New England Private School Athletic Conference (NEPSAC) is an association of 167 prep schools in New England and New York. SKS students participate in both exciting home and away games, complete with eat-out treats.
