Field Day 2010
The weather was beautiful for Storm King’s annual Field Day festivities, held on Tuesday, May 25th. Students and faculty enjoyed a day off from classes and spent the morning basking in the sun while participating and competing in a variety of activities. READ MORE
Athletes Honored at Spring Athletic Awards Ceremony
The Storm King School celebrated the end of the spring athletic season on Tuesday, May 26th. Congratulations to all the teams for a great season. The tennis team in particular deserves special recognition for being named the Hudson Valley Athletic League champions! Students Perform at the 2010 Talent Show
Storm King’s annual Talent Show pitted 16 acts against each other competing for the $100 grand prize. Only one team could win and the competition was fierce. The talents included music, dance, magic, and beat boxing, among others. Master of Ceremonies Andre P. kept the show moving and the energy at a high. READ MORE

Prom 2010: “A Red Carpet Affair”
By all accounts, Storm King students and their dates had a wonderful time at their prom, held on Friday, May 14th at Mountainville Manor in nearby Mountainville, NY. The “Red Carpet” themed event was planned meticulously by the Prom Committee: Jordan B., Crystal F., Marilyn H., Jeffrey P., Sisy Q., and Ava Y., with the help of Prom Committee Advisors Kathy Syvertsen and Sien Fernandez-Moore. National Honor Society Welcomes Five New Members
On Thursday evening April, 29, members of The Storm King School chapter of the National Honor Society welcomed five new members. Criteria for membership in this elite group include scholarship, service, leadership, and character (each represented by a candle, which is lit during the traditional ceremony). All members must maintain a 3.0 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) and contribute positively to the School and community through volunteer work, leadership, and a good attitude. An elegant formal dinner followed the induction ceremony. READ MORE
