When is the application deadline?
Students are accepted on a rolling basis for the next school year beginning in March. Applicants will be considered as long as space is available. Similarly, for students interested in applying for the current school year, applications are accepted as space allows.
Do you offer financial aid and scholarships?
Financial aid is offered on a need basis. Parents will be asked to fill out a financial survey and provide a copy of their 1040 for review. Merit scholarships are offered to individuals with a strong academic record and a real interest in the arts, athletics or community service.
When is tuition due?
Tuition is due and payable on July 1st of each year or upon registration for later enrollments. The school offers a two-payment plan with 60% payable by July 1st and the balance due by mid-December. Discounts are available for payments in full by the deadlines. For more information, please contact the Business Office at (845) 534-7892.
What is the dress code?
There is a required dress code during the academic day. Students must wear a collared shirt (either a polo or an oxford) with an embroidered school crest. Denim, athletic wear, and short skirts/shorts are not permitted. Once the academic day has ended, students may change into their own clothes. Details are found in The Crest, Storm King's Student & Parent Handbook and the Parent Resources page of the website.
Where can I order dress-code shirts?

Who should I contact if my child wants to leave campus on the weekend?

Where can I find out about school closings and delays?
In the rare event of a school closing or delay due to snow or other emergencies, an announcement will be made on the radio station WHUD 100.7 FM; an automated phone call will be made to parents of day students; and a bulletin will be posted on the home page of our website: www.sks.org.
What can or should I have in my dorm room?
Each student should bring blankets, pillows, bedspreads, and two extra bath towels. Other linens are provided. Washcloths, laundry bags and hangers are recommended, as well as a study lamp and an alarm clock. Electrical appliances other than clocks, hair dryers and electric razors are not permitted. Open flames, tapestries, firearms, ammunition, fireworks, explosives, electrical appliances for cooking and heating, and any electrical cord not UL approved are not allowed.
